Sakina Quran is built with respect for your privacy. This policy explains exactly what happens to information when you use the app — in plain language.
Sakina itself does not collect any personal information about you. No account is required, no analytics or tracking tools are used, no advertisements are shown, and no personal data is transmitted to the developer or to any servers operated by the developer.
The third-party services listed below receive limited request information (such as your IP address, and your location when calculating prayer times) when you use the features that depend on them.
The following information is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it:
To deliver core features, Sakina makes requests to the following public APIs. These services receive standard request metadata (such as your IP address and the resource you requested). Sakina does not share your identity or contact information with any of them.
Sakina requests your location only to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Your coordinates are sent only to the Aladhan API and stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted anywhere else. You may decline location access; in that case you can still search for any city manually.
If you choose to leave a tip via the Support page, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Sakina does not see or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how that transaction data is handled.
Sakina is suitable for all ages. It does not collect any personal information from any user, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear at this URL with an updated date at the top.
